Recently we had first hand experience when one of our offices flooded but due to our contingency plans, and more importantly the availability of up to date backups, we had recovered by the next working day.

Submerged

Our IT Services department had a real life scenario to test their contingency planning when overnight the Solutions office was plunged under three feet of floodwater. The server was submerged but due to a careful backup routine the files were easily recovered.

Relocated

This happened on Friday night 18th July 2007. By Monday morning all staff and equipment were relocated in our Roman Way office and all the systems were up and running on another server.

The Office is now reopened following the flooding in July.  Our contingency planning ensured we were fully operational during the past few months. Solutions are  now located back at the Saltway providing clients with specialist assistance on VAT, payroll, bookkeeping and management accounts matters.
